Hand held shower not working
i need this to work for hair washing.
Hello hi paid a lot of money for this TUB And I need it to work perfectly. I called a while back in in the fall because theres a handheld shower that I didnt use any need it but now Because I I need my daughter and myself I need my daughter and myself to be able to use the handheld shower or any time all the time OK I need a servicman To come and fix the shower hand house OK thank you joy Urbinati OK no OK

Leakage in my tub
The tub is leaking all over my house Ive called several times with NO one contacting back at all I keep getting the run around at this point Im getting very upset this company is not the best at customer service its the worst ever after 4 or 5 days of calling I have yet to receive a call back. Safe step is not a good tub

A salesman showed up and was very nice seemed to know what he was doing and took his time explaining everything, so far so good. When it came time to give us a price it was quoted at $28000!!
There is no way a tub was worth that and we told him so and he came up with some discounts that brought it down to $24000 we told him still too high then eventually came down to $18000 which we initially accepted and put $3000 down but after thinking a few hours we decided that was too much for us and called and told him and all of a sudden Mr.
nice guy turned very rude and threating and after telling me to send in the cancellation form within 3 days to get our money back and hung up on me! I feel they will try to get an outrageous price to start with and how many poor old folks get screwed and take the first or second price?

On February 2021, I purchased a standard size Safe Step walk in tub, and the unit have been falling apart. I called the last week in December 2021 to inform that the shower pole is loose, water is *** out from the base of the pole, the handheld shower head cord broke loose and water is *** out of that too.
The mechanism that controls the drain is also coming apart. It's a twist and tighten system that is always coming unloose. At the moment the unit is unusable. I made a follow up call today about the matter and the man that picked up hung up when I stated the system is falling apart.
I was not yelling or behaving belligerently, so I am surprised he simply hung up, the sad thing is that I purchased this for an elderly person who suffers from dementia in order to make bathing easier on her. SMH

My dad is disabled, since I used Safe Step to install a shower, I thought it would be beneficial for him to have a low step tub. What a disaster, the representative said nothing would be touched, the space would look a lot as if the walk-in tub had been in place for years and that the tub would need to be custom-made for the space.
Nothing but lies; the original contractor committed to the job three or so weeks, the job was assigned to another contractor. It was a nightmare. Not only was it overpriced, $16,000+, they also removed parts of the wall and floor, leaving plywood exposed.
Who would opt to spend more money in advance on repairing exposed walls and floors? As this is what I was told, my dad signed stating he would absorb the cost.
What!
So, I began calling the numbers on file, finally, after calling all the numbers available on the internet, leaving a message for the complaint officer was a joke, she just has the title.
The unethical attorney for Safe Step conveniently called me, stating he could not discuss, as I was not the homeowner. Once again, just a smoking glass and mirrors, not wanting to take responsibility.
Do not use this company, the company uses unethical business practices.
I did seek another install company who deemed safe step install a safety issue.

I purchased a safe step tub three years ago and the heater has NEVER WORKED! The micro STOPPED WORKING three weeks ago because The water THERAPEUTIC HYDRO MASSAGE JET on the back of the tub stopped working three weeks ago. I tried to call the company TODAY (January 29, 2022) to get repair information and found out that there is no repair service FOR CUSTOMERS in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I had the system installed, the next day after installation I noticed a 3 in gap at the lower part of the tub, I called and three or five days later they sent the same people out to repair the problem, I was sick when they got there, however he showed up with a large tube of cauking and a cauking gun and a puddy knife, he filled in the gap with cauking. nothing is square or level on the system.
I adjusted the shower to fit my height and tried to use the shower and when I turned it on the shower adjusted itself all the way to the ceiling and turned to the left which allowed water to go all over the floor, the tub leaks at the bottom of the door, when draining the tub it leaks at the bottom of the door. when the installed the system they done something to my bathroom door and it wont shut or latch according lee. I got out and slipped and fell and damaged my back and neck. Now I am in a lot of pain.

When the salesman showed up he was very nice very convincing other than the 3 lies that we caught him in . After giving him $5000 we were told that no other money would be charged until installation was completed my wife noticed the other day that they took money out already . We still have not heard from them about an installation date and trying to find out I have been put on hold hung up on and straight up ignored do not use this company for any reason whatsoever NoNO

We bought this tub.my husband is in wheel chair. Sales person did not detail making sure he could safely use it.
It is very hard for him to get in and out and has went down numerous times facing in tub and gets stuck due to his legs are too week to get up. Needless to say take me his wife a long time to safely getting him up.
After about 4 months into having tub.I felt I should contact them. But I know I should of done it before.
Tried to get them to replace it with a walkin shower but will not do it with a $5600 charge this is so very difficult on us. We have not done so due towe do not have the cash for this.

should advise customer that they will need a large capacity hot water heater. The water gets to cold before getting to the jets to back.
Have to sit on the bottom of tub for water that is warm to reach. The door frame to get in bathroom was to small so had to be removed.
when placed back was dented and paint was removed from sheet rock about size of a fist. alot of dust on floor from sawing through sheet rock. Orginally wanted walk in shower but salesman pushed for tub.
My question is with this tub for someone who is disable, Could careless about the color of the water, the aroma, blue tooth. Wanted warm water to reach my back.
Bought a new Hot water heater for this tub that is why Safe Step need to tell custmer size that is needed. Could have completely remodeled the bathroom for this price that would have been more appropriate for a handicapped person.

Salesman and installer said that the pluming look good and the tub would be a great benefit to my wife and i but once it was installed we realized the tub took a long time to drain. i call a number of times before someone came out , they then sent a Plummer who said that there was a problem with a down pipe and it needed to be replaced safe step tub first said it was my problem then they said that they would pay half to fit it and I keep saying I would not have got the tub if I had known this, now I have something I can't use and don't know what to do about it

was regarding the water is cold by the time it reaches the back jets. Got a new hot water heater .
was not advised that one needed the largest ones. My door frame leading into bathroom when placed back leaving sheet rock exposed. Paint patches peeled away .molding not placed back. Need a painter and carpenter to repair.
What I paid for this tub I could have had bathroom totally remodeled. the slick salesman kept pushing for the tub. What I wanted was a walk in shower .
Sure his commission was more with tub. To get immersed in water have to slide from seat to bottom of tub.

They have not yet tried to reach out to me, I told the loan Company to get saaft step tub to refund them the $23,000.00 and they need to put my bathroom back to the way they found it. I estimate it to be over 13,000.00 plus the 23,000.00
